Hoppe‐Seyler, Ernst Felix Immanuel

Abstract

Ernst Felix Immanuel Hoppe‐Seyler (1825–1895) was a German biochemist who investigated the chemistry of haemoglobin, and who argued that biochemistry should be an independent science. Founding editor of Zeitschriftfür Physiologischen Chemie.
