Shortt, Henry Edward

1887–1987British protozoologist and entomologist who elucidated the role of sandflies in the transmission of visceral leishmaniasis or kala azarand who with P. C. C. Garnham discovered the exoerythrocytic schizonts or tissue stage of mammalian malaria parasites.
