Restriction Enzymes

Abstract

Restriction enzymes have played a key role in the completion of the initial sequencing and analysis of the first draft of the human genome. They were important tools in the cloning, analysis and sequencing of the various deoxyribonucleic acid fragments as well as in the construction of a physical map of the human genome.
