RNA Viral Vectors in Gene Therapy

Abstract

Genes can be delivered into mammalian cells using synthetic nonviral vectors or recombinant viral vectors derived from DNA virsuses, retroviruses and, more recently, RNA viruses.

Keywords: RNA viruses; gene transfer; poliovirus; measles virus; vesicular stomatitis virus; influenza virus; Sindbis virus
