Sociobiology
Sociobiology is the study of animal behaviour from an evolutionary perspective. Animal sociobiology is often better known as ‘behavioural ecology’, examples of which can be demonstrated by the evolution of cooperative and altruistic behaviours such as kinship. The articles highlight different ways animals behave to ensure evolutionary success over time, and address controversies surrounding sociobiology theory in humans.
